Lisa J. Ayotte,
Finance Manager
Operations Accounting/Trusts

Lisa joined EPLO in 2018. Lisa’s professional experience spans large and small business operations. Her broad background allows her to provide a personable level of service to the firm’s clients and vendors, all while coordinating the operational matters of a fast-paced practice. Clients appreciate her professional yet friendly approach when working through billing inquiries or discussing account details.

Lisa is also a valuable member of the trust administration team. With extensive finance and bookkeeping experience, she manages the daily bookkeeping operations for the firm’s trust services. Her trust administration role includes communicating with beneficiaries and other trust professionals, and coordinating trust account distributions.

 

Paralegals

Our experienced and knowledgeable paralegals work closely with the firm attorneys, clients and client advisors. Their long-term tenure with the firm has given them an in-depth understanding of our processes and policies, allowing them to effectively guide clients throughout the course of their engagement.

Vanessa P. Van Someren,
Paralegal

Vanessa has worked with the EPLO partners since 2007. Vanessa works closely with attorneys and staff members on drafting estate plan documents for new and existing clients.  She has a longstanding role in the firm’s estate and trust administration team, having worked closely with trustees, personal representatives (executors) and beneficiaries in the administration process. Vanessa also has extensive experience in MassHealth/Medicaid applications, working with firm attorneys and clients on the many details involved in Medicaid eligibility planning and application assembly, as well as the ongoing eligibility review process.

Adrienne M. Marcotte,
Paralegal

Adrienne joined EPLO in 2010. Adrienne is deeply involved in the estate planning aspects of the firm’s practice, and collaborates with firm attorneys, clients and client advisors in all stages of the process.  She works closely with existing clients in updating their estate plans to account for changes in the laws or their life stages/circumstances.  She also works alongside the attorneys on complex matters including high net worth planning and business succession transactions. Adrienne has also been involved with the corporate practice area, including forming and maintaining entities (LLCs/corporations) for the firm’s business clients, and preparing applications for tax-exempt status for nonprofits.  She works alongside the attorneys on complex trust administrations.

Michelle M. Goncalves,
Paralegal

Michelle joined EPLO in 2014. In her tenure with the firm, Michelle has occupied a variety of roles.  Currently, Michelle works closely with attorneys and staff on the probate and administration process, as well as the administration of various types of trusts.  She prepares court filings and communicates with executors (personal representatives), trustees and beneficiaries throughout the administration process.  Michelle has also worked on all aspects of the estate planning process, from drafting estate plan documents to execution, and currently focuses on the funding process (aligning asset ownership and beneficiary designations).  She also works closely with the firm’s business clients on the annual maintenance of their entities.  Michelle’s background in real estate law has been of particular value in her various roles. 

Larissa N. Brooks,
Paralegal

Larissa joined EPLO in 2021. With previous experience in a variety of demanding customer-oriented settings, Larissa capably supervises the estate planning files for new and existing clients from the start of the engagement through the completion of the estate planning process, including estate plan funding.  From document preparation to running the signing meetings, her knowledge of EPLO’s estate planning process is a valuable asset to our clients and staff.  Larissa’s role has also evolved to working in the probate and trust administration practice, where she assists with all aspects of document preparation and communication with fiduciaries and beneficiaries. 

Abigail R. Gillespie,
Paralegal

Abby joined EPLO in 2022. With prior law firm experience, Abby quickly became a valuable contributor to the firm’s estate planning practice.  From communicating with clients through all stages of the document preparation, review and execution process, to working alongside the staff and attorneys in the funding of estate plans, her attention to detail has been a critical aspect of managing the volume and nuance of our core practice area.  Abby’s role has expanded to serving as a paralegal in the firm’s probate/estate/trust administration practices as well as working with corporate clients on annual entity maintenance. 

Legal/Administrative Support

Our personable legal/administrative support team is a critical part of the client experience and the operations of the practice.  Often times the first point of contact for clients, our legal assistants have hands-on involvement with client files, and can give prompt and helpful assistance on a variety of issues.

Danielle M. Oldham,
Administrative Assistant

Danielle joined EPLO in 2022. Danielle is the primary point of client communication, scheduling and related correspondence for the entire practice.  She manages the staff calendars across all practice areas.  With previous experience in customer service and leadership roles in various organizations, she is equipped to assist EPLO clients with patience and efficiency.  She is also a valued collaborator with staff in a variety of interoffice projects and operational matters, including key aspects of maintaining estate plan engagements and files.

Adriana White,
Legal Assistant

Adriana joined EPLO in 2025 to meet the firm’s expanded needs as our core practice areas continue to grow.  With a background in customer service and communications, she has quickly become a key member of the estate planning practice team, providing support in all stages of the estate planning process, from signing meetings to document processing.  She also communicates with and assists prospective and existing clients in a variety of areas.
