Barton Named to American Cancer Society Nationwide Gift Planning Advisor Council

Estate Preservation Law Offices (EPLO) is pleased to announce that Attorney Carol F. Barton has been selected to represent the New England Region as a volunteer advisor on the American Cancer Society Nationwide Gift Planning Advisor Council (NGPAC). “I am honored with this appointment particularly since I have a strong connection to the American Cancer Society having lost my father and a dear high school friend from cancer,” stated Barton.

The Council consists of a distinguished group of planned giving experts who provide expert consultation, estate planning and technical input, and who engage in periodic education in various areas of charitable gift planning to advance NGPAC’s vision of a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Barton earned her law degree from New England School of Law and an LL.M. degree in Estate Planning and Elder Law at Western New England University School of Law. Her practice at EPLO concentrates on estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law and Medicaid planning, and special needs and disability planning. Carol also represents clients in various probate matters including estate administration, guardianships and conservatorships.
